Dubai South is a multi-phase development that is based on the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Dubai World Central (DWC), the master-planned city dubbed “The Center of Tomorrow,” was first introduced in 2006. It was given its current name in 2015. Dubai South is a fully developed residential area with a wide range of amenities. The government’s flagship development is comprised of eight distinct phases that integrate residential, commercial, logistics, aviation, hospitality, and leisure zones.

This free economic zone covers 145 square kilometers and includes a 7 square kilometer aerospace hub and an 18 square kilometer logistics hub. Dubai South also provides freehold plots and some off investment opportunities with simple payment plans, with many phases currently being built and many completed over the past few years. As a complete city within the city, Dubai South is envisioned as a place where people can live, work, and invest. The development facilitates the formation of business firms in addition to investment plans for leasehold and freehold projects and a variety of apartments, villas, and townhomes.
